now let's see if I did my 2009 resolutions well.

taken from my January 2nd 2009's entry:
1. loss some weight, 5kg will get me fit into my old jeans. oh why is it so hard?
FAIL! my waist just won't fit into my old jeans.

2. buy and read more books, seriously I need to read more books 'cause I only read less than 5 books in 2008.
FAIL! the last book I read was The Tales of Beedle The Bard and I haven't even finished reading it yet.

3. stop buying fandom stuff, especially CDs. there's no way I could stop buying photobook though. this fandom stuff really drain my wallet.
I don't know. ...I managed not to buy any CD this year, SAFE! but I ended up start buying anime/seiyuu magazines. no photobooks this year but welcome visual fanbooks! :D

4. watch dramas that I REALLY want to watch.
well.. I don't watch any winter & spring 2009 drama. managed to watch a summer 2009 drama but haven't finished it yet. and... still progressing halfway with my fall 2009 drama :D so.. I haven't finished watching any single drama I watch this year. FAIL!
and now I'm back to anime fandom.

5. exercise MORE! those spiders are now making cobweb on my yoga mat *_*
FAIL! I don't exercise/do yoga at all. the last time I used my yoga mat was when my friends came to stay over and I slept on it. (it was quite fluffy so...)

I'm so ashamed of my 2009 resolutions results T___T
anyway, I'm coming up with another 2010 resolutions:

1. still trying to lose some weight.
2. buy at least an original otome game :D
3. buy more fanbooks
4. try not to download too much so I don't have to buy another HD with my pocket money.
5. sew all 13 starry sky characters doll. I know I won't be able to finish it during holiday but let's see if I can finish it in a year :D

hope it's going well in 2010.

Mother's Day?

it's been everywhere on the newspaper and TV CMs that it's Mother's Day today, so I greeted my Mom with a "Happy Mother's Day" greeting to her ^^
and added "but Mom, I'm so tired 'cause I just came back home from staying over at my friend's place, is it okay if I'm not helping you today? I'm so tired." LOL

children are supposed to be helping their mothers at this kinda day, but since I'm a lazy bum, I'm an exceptional :D

it reminds me, Neoromance Starlight Xmas event was held 2 days ago, so I went looking for the event repots. I'm sooooooooooo curious how Hinocchi looked like on that event xD there's no my other favorite seiyuu except him who came to the event so I could only be excited of his appearance. but I couldn't find the event reports everywhere yet, at least for now ;____;

but they posted the setlist already!
awww, too bad Kimura Ryohei sang 'It's so free!' again T___T I guess I've seen him in lots of events singing that song. I wanted him to sing 'Shiny Sunny Day' 'cause I loooove that song! oh, but he also sang 'Allegrissimo' with Hirarin! :D

Hinocchi sang 'First Noel' of course xD I wonder where are the rest of Corda team members 'cause there were only 2 members on both days!! o___O (19th: Itouken + Daisaku, 20th: Itouken + Hinocchi). but I'm so glad they arranged a Xmas drama between Neo Ange & Corda team.

Hoshi also had a new song for Futsuhiko and it was event-limited release xD
it's kinda weird for me 'cause during the live performances, Haruka team made appearance as Haruka 4 team, and on the live drama part, they made apperance as Haruka 3 team o___O

oh, and I drooled over the list of otome goodies which will be sold on Winter Comicket 77.
there are sooooooooo many goodies I want *sob* but I know I'll never be able to get my hands on them: Miratore escort voice CDs, Hinocchi vs Tachi radio CD, Uta no Prince-sama drama CD, there are a lot more from Otomate & Kotobukiya booths and I'm not reading much further =_________=
where's honeybee booth anyway?

note: this is the easiest way how to apply moodthemes but it takes longer time. I know there's a faster way to apply this using HTML code, but I screwed up with it and somehow the moodthemes just won't appear.

1. extract the RAR files to a folder
2. upload all the images inside the folder to Photobucket/Imageshack/other image hosting server, you can also use bulk uploader
3. now go to Customize Journal Style>Display>Moodthemes>Edit/create custom moodthemes
4. Create a new theme>type any title you want (ex: Miracle Train)>Create
5. Once it's created, Edit
6. now paste every direct link of each moodtheme to the box provided, don't forget to type the size (ex: paste "angry" moodtheme URL link to the "angry" box, and type 90 in "width", 45 in "height"), otherwise the moodthemes won't appear
7. you can inherit the similiar moodtheme without having to paste the picture links (ex: if you'd like "annoying" moodtheme to appear as the same with "angry" moodtheme, you can simply leave the "annoying" box and everything blank, and check "Inherit from angry". this will make "annoying" moodtheme looks the same with "angry"
8. once everything's done, scroll down and Save changes. you'll be back to Editor window
9. click Use to make the moodthemes appear in your journal.
10. now go to either Profile page or Sidebar in your journal, and type "moodtheme by: hiroki_chan"

please tell us your impression about the recording
this time I'm singing "First Noel" and I thought like "ah, it's Christmas already". The situation takes place where Etou is going to give a present, and it's different from the usual Etou, it's becoming a wonderful song. I tried my best when singing so it could fit the image of Romantic Christmas.

are there some arrangement of Christmas melody?
there were violin and a lot more so it could sound like a Christmas song. The image of the song is "Etou who is going to give a present under the falling snow" in ballad.

during the recording, what image of Etou did you use?
instead of the usual tsuntsun, I sang it as if it was like the straight Etou who's going to tell his feeling.

even if it was different from the usual Etou, was it an easy song for Hino-san?
it was an easy song to sing. it was probably close to 'MOVE. I used the inner feeling rather than
Etou's outside impression when singing.

there's this word 'little box' in the words, what kind of present do you think that Etou chose?
actually when I was listening to the message during CD recording, I understood what Etou bought. after listening to the message and then moved on to 'First Noel', I thought Etou will be able to tell his feeling.

anyway, did you have any wonderful Christmas experiences?
I was born in America, and I had a big Christmas tree there. since I was a child, my relatives came and gathered around the tree every year having party together. we even decorated the tree with snow made from cotton, it was really fun.

last, please tell your message to the fans.
there is a link between the message and the song, so listen to the message first and then move on the song and I think you'll be able to catch the image of Etou who's trembling about his feeling.
this is also another Etou romantic song with no exception, I hope you'll be able to have a wonderful time if you listen to this CD during Christmas time.

now move on to the read team, I'm so glad TVXQ will make it again this year. well, they're currently having a problem with SM Entertainment so I was kinda worried if they'd still perform at year-end music shows. a-a-and Arashi?? did I read Arashi? :D yaaaay!
EXILE's becoming the regular guest so, no surprises. I guess that's it, I'm not really excited with shiro-gumi.

I hope this year I'll be able to watch it, 'cause I couldn't watch it last year!! I was at the hotel and I remember it was Nozomi's turn when she was about to perform my favorite Gake no Ue no Ponyo!! D: it was dinner time so I had to leave *sob* and I couldn't manage to watch TVXQ's performance too this year. sadly, my tv-cable suddenly took NHK out my monthly package so I guess I won't be able to watch this unless people upload it -.- *sigh*

by the way, did they announce the hosts yet? I like last year's hosts though :)

Vitamin Z review: Nachi's route

I actually started playing Nachi's route before I got hooked to Nojiken though :D
since the first time I played Vitamin Z I actually fell for Nachi 'cause he is the most good looking one and he's a genki type (my favorite type in any otome game!)

Hojou Nachi (CV: Nojima Kenji)

I don't know why but I rarely see an interesting pure genki type guy in otome games lately, I mean a really pure one. I thought Nachi was a pure genki like I imagined before and that's why I went for his route.. in fact, he actually got another personality o__O which surprised me. he reminds me of the 2nd Azuma Yunoki of Kiniro no Corda -_-"

so Nachi seems always cheerful and he's twin of Kei. Nachi's the vice president of student council so he's quite busy, always follows Kei. if Kei always yells to the A4, then Nachi is the one who makes fun of them. he thinks A4 is interesting so he often teases them.

I find his early route is rather interesting 'cause you get him to tease you and is 180 degree different from Kei. he's so warm and likes to hug you LOL ~~while all Kei did to you in his early route was yell, yell and yell~~ and I always love the BGM when Nachi appears.

but later he'll show you his evil side ~_~ you'll later find out if he's actually a motor gang leader called DIAMOND SIGN!! o__O apparently, Nachi is the younger brother of Kei so he can't do anything that'll surpass Kei's excellency or do anything that will make Kei looks worse than him. that's why he sometimes turns into ura-Nachi and talks in a sarcastic way. (but Nojiken sounds so sexy as ura-Nachi!!)

aside from that, he loves Kei as his beloved brother very much. I find their relationship is kinda like Hikaru - Kaoru from Ouran, but not as explicit as theirs -_-"
'cause Nachi doesn't care if his true identity was found out by his father, he is more afraid if Kei knew about it and might hurt him. even Nachi won't forgive anyone who'll hurt Kei, SO BROTHERLY LOVE <3 <3

but Nachi also makes fun of his brother, by telling him about fairy-tale things to Kei, and Kei stupidly believes all of them. like, the sleeping fairy will come to you if you don't go to sleep at certain hour xDD --> and thanks to Nachi all A4 laughed at Kei for still believing in such stupid stories.

here's a brief summary of what happened in one of the events:

Kei: I'm starving~
Nachi: me too! it's common for Mom & Dad to go out of town and leave us alone for 2 days. but it's been 3 days already..
Kei: I think I'll order lunch for now
Nachi: oh what a great idea!! let's see.. what will we have?
Kei: SOBA! *LOL here*
Nachi: PIZZA! what? there's no such thing like Soba delivery!
Kei: I don't want to eat pizza either, you'll put in some broccoli for sure. I don't want to eat such stinky thing.
Nachi: ehh why? if you don't like broccoli then you can't grow bigger!
Kei: I'm sorry but 178cm is big enough for me.
Nachi: well, I'm 179cm though~
Kei: 1cm different is not that matter!

I remember Kei hates broccoli very much and it's such a pleasant fact for Nachi to love broccoli, damn I love these cute brothers!!

as for the later route, it became more serious as his identity as motor gang leader was about to spread everywhere. and it was quite a long story ~_~ but I like Nachi's story better than Kei's.

now move on to the confession <3 I've only done Nachi's perfect story so far and haven't done the dream story yet. but I really like it that I got to see Nachi's kissing CG in this ED yaay!! as for Kei's kissing CG I had to finish all his 3 EDs and a few zapping to be able to see his kissing CG T___T
and OMG he even kissed you before he confessed <3 <3 Nachi is love!

"no matter how many times you want me to say it, I'll say it. even for the 100th time, or the 1000th time I'll say it. I like you, I love you, I love you from the bottom of my heart, CHU~!"

oh and this also reminds me his Hitsuji de Oyasumi CD! that CD was a total fanservice to me 'cause he threatens you not to sleep before him, or he can't guarantee what he'll do to you *grins* and he also whispered some naughty but romantic words while counting sheeps, gyaaaaah xD

and he sounds really cute in the last track.
overall, Nojiken did a really good job in voicing Nachi! and also the ura-Nachi! besides, most of Nachi CG is moe moe <3

gomen Kei, but my favorite character is now Nachi :D but you're still my 2nd favorite character

I posted quite lots of downloads in some communities recently but haven't posted some download here for a while :D
so here's Kiniro no Corda drama CD from Premium BOX edition ^^

I thought they'd still make this album slightly different from the previous Encore album but perhaps they think it'd be a waste to insert the same album containing same music instruments so they add some drama, like what they did to the previous forte love/song album.

haven't finished listening both CDs but I've listened to Kaji's tracks and they're lovely :D
makes me want to play forte Encore soon T__T

I <3 sewing

I just came back from my vacation yesterday night, and now I'm back to my daily routine. it feels good to be back home ^__^
and I felt like sewing so I decided to make Erenfried's doll which I just finished a while ago :D

I really like it even though I made a few mistakes in choosing the color. I couldn't find the perfect hair color which should be soft pink (all I could find was shocking pink), so I used beige instead. and the more I look to Erenfried's outfit, hir coat collar and everything around the coat should be dark grey and not black -_- but other than that it's fine.

I thought if I should add an orange badge on his necktie but I wouldn't bother such tiny detail. anyway, I spent 2 days sewing this and I'm so glad it's finished now ^^ the hardest part is definitely sewing his face!! I had to cut his hair a few times until it fits to his head and this is the first time for me sewing a character who wears glasses so I really don't know what should I did to make him look as if he's wearing a frameless glasses. in the end, I just glued the eyes and stuff onto a piece of white textile and there it looks like a frameless glasses ^^

I had fun sewing this and I'm thinking of sewing more Miyu's tsundere character ~~so I could have more frowning dolls LOL~~ and I was thinking about Hojou Kei from Vitamin Z and Est from Wand of Fortune xD I really like them, so hopefully I could sew them during my not-so-much spare time after the first part of assignment evaluation next week.

now which one I should do first.. Kei, Est, Kei, Est.. xD

some of them are quite funny 'cause you can't find the pictures in the game so I really like them.

let's start out with Kagero-sensei's first Wand of Fortune drawing :p

this is the first picture of Wand of Fortune drawing that she put in monthly illustrator's column at B'sLOG magazine.
look, each character expresses their own unique personalities xD Lagi is trying to eat that mochi crazily, Alvaro sits down and tries to look cool LOL, Julius is reading his book everywhere while eatching mochi, Noel tries to bother Julius like he always does, Bilal is trying to be nice with everyone by offering mochi and Est is the victim here xD and Est refuses Bilal's mochi 'cause he hates sweets~! <3 lovely!

Arcobaleno! :review

I decided to play only my 4 favorite boys in this game 'cause I still have lots of games to play and don't have that many times ^^;

(clockwise, starting from 9: Nikichi, Haruto, Futa, Kaname, Ryunosuke)

the story is quite good, easy-to-understand, and so Italian! if I'm not mistaken, the gameplay is about a girl named Yuna who ran away from her house 10 years ago and was helped by a young man. he fed Yuna with his own made pasta and the taste still remains in Yuna's head.
now she's going into Italian cooking college 'cause she wants to be able to meet that man again.

the gameplay is pretty simple and even though it's not 100% pure visual novel, it's easy ^^
first, you have to take test in every 2-3 weeks and the test is pretty much about the order to make current recipe. in order to be able to cook, you need to obtain the recipe from the boys you'll be going after.
second, you'll get free times and during this time you have to visit the boys to trigger some events and even getting shooed (in a soft way) 'cause he's currently busy.
third, you need to set up your schedule per week to raise your stat. to be honest I don't really know why you have to raise your stat 'cause I don't think it affect your test.

what I like about this game is that you can focus on your chosen boy since the very first beginning. there'll be 5 episodes (or episodio) in the beginning and you need to answer the questions prompted correctly to get started into the boys route and receiving mails too.

here's my experience with the boys in my playing order:

Murota Kaname (CV: Fukuyama Jun)
I've been wanting to go for him first but when I first played the game I don't know which one was Kaname and I didn't recognize Jun's voice o__O I thought his voice would be like either Hanabusa Aidou from Vampire Knight or Kinose Azusa from Starry Sky but it turned out that he was using 50% of his low voice and 50% of his high voice, so perhaps he sounds more like Carl from Hanasakeru Seishounen LOL
he is friend of Yuna and he has liked her since the beginning but he's just too shy ;_; Kaname isn't in the same class with Yuna but he likes to grow Italian tomatoes so Yuna could use it in her cooking. and I like Kaname's recipes the most 'cause they are mostly contain tomatoes and are very very delicious-looking~!!
but what I don't like from him is that he's always hanging out with Futa (that I really don't like) but I guess he got the best last CG among the other 3 boys ^^

Nasu Haruto (CV: Tachibana Shinnosuke)
the chef of the restaurant and the one who eats the most, even though he doesn't seem so o__O he's pretty cold in the beginning but Tachishin voiced him sexily that I almost fell for him when I was going for Kaname xD he also turned out to be the man who saved Yuna 10 years ago with his pasta, but apparently he didn't remember about it. he started to blush and caring in the middle way, which is sweet :p
and I must say he got the sweetest kissing CG *screams* xDD
I don't know but he's pretty serious in his route, but he's funnier in the other's route LOL

Saotome Nikichi (CV: Mizushima Takahiro)
I have to admit I like his voice, 'cause he sounds just like Nikichi with his normal voice ~_~ first, he's the manager of Arcobaleno and this man is 28 years old, and he doesn't look so!! but this man is so kechi!! all he cares about is money (well, but I understand why he's like that when I found out the reason later in the game), he's popular among girls and he got his special "sales talk" to lure out customers LOL
he always hit everyone with his harisen, especially Ryunosuke when he did something stupid. this happens a lot during the game and I always enjoy this moment 'cause it's so funny ^^
...umm, I'm not sure about this but sometimes he shows his other dark side unexpectedly ~_~
and he's the most aggresive one among the other 3 boys that made me go "kyaaaaaaa!!" o___O

Komatsu Ryunosuke (CV: Hino Satoshi)
I didn't like him first 'cause he looks so stupid LOL but when I tried to go for his route, damn.. I love this man!! he's stupid, sweet, hilarious, and very proud of himself xD
he can't cook so that's why he's being the owner of Arcobaleno, but he likes to create new recipes and force other people to try his awful cooking (just like what he did to Yuna in the intro part LOL)
I can't help to laugh when he starts to giggle like "fufufu.." 'cause Hino made it sound very funny LOL yappari, this man is the funny essence of the game ^^ I just can't stop smiling or laughing when playing his route.
and I can say he's very sweet!! he blushes a lot and isn't to shy to say embarassing things to Yuna ^__^ but I was wondering.. when did he confess, that suddenly he and Yuna went so lovey-dovey. err.. perhaps it was during the hilarious wedding-restaurant photo session LOL

I'm not interested in Futa, even I hate him 'cause of his high-pitch voice -_- and he seems like a crybaby. also, I don't really like the way Bazilio talks (I hate foreigners in otome game). the other one is Yagi, a magazine reporter who always looks for Arcobaleno bad side and he seems so evil ~_~

when you've finished playing the game you'll get a messgage and if you check it out, it's the message from the boy that you just finished playing, and he said that he's grateful about everything and he really likes you *dies* very sweet ^__^

I'm still missing 2-3 CGs per boy, and I wonder if I can get it by setting the corrent birthdate and play the omake just like Will O Wisp -_-" but I'm too lazy to do that, hope someone upload the CG pack later.

it annoys me a bit that the delay when the day changes is quite long ~_~ and sometimes when a character appear in some converstatiosn it took quite a long time too. but everything else's fine.

oh yeah, I read from B'sLOG that this game has 3 ED, harem or love ED, vs ED, and I forgot another one m(_ _)m but I'm not interested in getting the other ED as I saw Haruto looking terribly sad in the preview CG and said "do you choose him over me?" awwwwwwww I can't stand looking at sad bishies ;_;

overall, I like this game A LOT!! 'cause I really enjoy the gameplay that it's not 100% pure visual novel but still easy to understand and doesn't take a long time to finish a route. it took me 5-6 hours for the first play and 3 hours per route for the next play. compared to Wand of Fortune, it's really short ^^

my eye landed on Erenfried's song for the first time, and yatta~!!! it's premier amour!! :D it's both romantic and upbeat song, and I like it so much ^^
Kaji got Mermaid and I think it's a good song. it's Kaji's first song and it's sooo good ^_^
and I'm glad they put Futsuhiko's first song, Sora ni Todoku Chikai. I like that song better than his 2nd song from Tokimeguri no Uta album.

I'm not doing the whole CD though. I only translate SWEET DRAMA parts, and I've only managed to translate Tsukimori, Tsuchiura and Kaji's parts :) will be doing Etou, Shimizu, Hihara and Yunoki's part too. not sure if I'll be doing Ousaki's part.. but let's see.
once I've finished translating the rest of drama I'll post them in a new post to prevent endless pot ~__~

what about you? you're gonna practice as a replacement for Ousaki-senpai's concert, aren't you?
Hino: umm, but somehow it just didn't go well.. so I thought I'd practice by myself
more in this practice room.
Tsukimori: I see.
Hino: what about Tsukimori-kun?
Tsukimori: same with you. I thought that I'd level up my music skill, that's why I prefer
to practice whenever I got a chance. Are you going to practice in the practice room?
Hino: of course! umm, I think.. ah, this is my room!
Tsukimori: ah, I see. my room is over there.
Hino: eh? my room is next to Tsukimori-kun's room. what a coincidence!

Tsukimori: *speaks in his mind* Hino is practicing next to my room, shouldn't I ask her
to practice together? if so, then perhaps I could give her some advice about difficulties in
her performance
she mentioned before. no, but right now she's trying so hard on her own. my intention will
only bother her at such time.
Hino: *speaks in his mind* Tsukimori-kun is practicing next to my room, will it be okay
if I ask him to practice together? if so, then perhaps I could ask for his advice about my
performance. ah, but perhaps I'll only be a bother for his practice time.

Tsukimori: ..Hino! since we'll be practicing next to each other, if you have something to ask
about your performance, don't hesitate to ask.
Hino: ah, un!! thank you.
Tsukimori: well then.
*chaconne played* it's been an hour and yet Hino hasn't come. perhaps she doesn't have any
difficulties in her performance. ah, it reminds me that her left arm didn't look so well.
perhaps it's what made her feeling not good. if I hear her sound then perhaps I can make sure
about it. oh yeah, if opened the window I'd be able to listen to her sound.
Hino? ..no, this isn't Hino's sound. oh God, what am I doing right now?

Hino: *sigh* perhaps a little bit refreshing would do. eh? is this.. Tsukimori-kun's performance? no,
it's not. why my performance wouldn't go well.. I wonder? I'm sure Tsukimori-kun will give me
some good advices, but.. then I'll look so weak. I have to practice by myself!
Tsukimori-kun.. I wonder what are you playing right now?

Tsukimori: it's been 2 hours since I started practicing. and I keep worrying about Hino.. why
she hasn't called me yet? why I keep thinking that I want to see her? why I end up like this?
I've never been like this during practice before. at least I want to be able to help her since
we're so close now. ..and I want to be by her side.

*Sicilienne plays badly*
Hino: ahhh, why my fingers won't move like I want to? *door knocked* ah, yes?!?
Tsukimori: it's me. is it okay if I go in?
Hino: Tsukimori-kun?! of course!
Tsukimori: I'm sorry for interrupting your practice.
Hino: no, it's okay. it's even a perfect timing! thank you for coming.
Tsukimori: is that so?
Hino: actually it's a shame. my fingers just won't move and kept pressing the wrong place, that's why

Tsukimori: if you put much power in your arm, then it'll cause vibrato. if you move your elbow indrectly, it'll
produce vibraato.

Hino: *speaks in his mind* Ts-Tsukimori-kun? I know he's only teaching the right position and this'll be the only
